West Windsor-Plainsboro Girl Scout Cadette troop 71613 has been visiting the West Windsor senior apartments “The Gables” every other month for several years for Valentine’s Day parties, holiday caroling events, and senior game day. “They have made a real connection,” says their leader, Mona Gawroniak. “They are all familiar faces now so everyone feels comfortable.”##M:[more]##

On October 27 the girls visited in costume to spread some Halloween fun. The girls, who presented treats, coffee, and iced tea, read poems, played music, and visited with the residents.

Troop members include Justine Dowling, Lindsay Patla, Robin Slothower, and Annie Gawroniak. Leaders include Gawroniak, Kathy Slothower, and Linda Dowling.
