Lin Baumann and Josi Easter received “Rookie of the Year” pins, given to first and second year leaders who develop a well-rounded program that includes training and active participation with the service unit.

Carolyn Sellars, Nancy Olsson, and Deb Klieger were named “Outstanding Leaders” for their work. They have demonstrated superior leadership skills with their troops by always welcoming new girls into the program, participating in community service activities, assisting girls to earn specific badges and awards, and promoting cultural awareness.

Pat Hoge, Natalie Devlin, and Lorraine Fisch-Friedman took home “Outstanding Volunteer” honors for service to the Girl Scout program above and beyond expectation.

Wendy Kramer and Anne Clifton were recognized with “Outstanding Service Team Member” pins, given to those who have made outstanding contributions to the service Unit.

The service unit, encompassing more than 700 Girl Scouts in 71 troops, is led by volunteers Cheryl Corbett and Louisa Ho. “The Girl Scout program relies on volunteers, and these women are outstanding volunteers who make a difference in the lives of many girls in our community,” says Corbett.
