Donna Senopoulos of Plainsboro won the first place award for her painting, “Leson’s Shed,” in the Garden State Watercolor Society’s ninth annual association member exhibition. The exhibit was at Triangle Art Center. The red shed that her painting represents is in a private garden in Cranbury. Through “Art in the Park,” a program sponsored by the Cranbury Arts Council, volunteers open their gardens. It was originally done as a pencil sketch and later as a painting. It was in an exhibit at the end of 2005 at Cranbury Town Hall’s Gourgaud Gallery.##M:[more]##

Senopoulos will have an exhibit in April with Watercolorists Unlimited in the Gourgaud Gallery featuring a floral theme. She is also preparing for a show at Blackwells Canal Mill at the end of April featuring historic and disappearing scenes of New Jersey.
