In honor of fathers and sportsmen everywhere, sports photographer Dick Druckman will be holding his annual Father’s Day sale at Gold Medal Impressions Gallery in West Windsor from Wednesday, June 1, to Saturday, June 18. If dad is a Yankee, Mets, or Phillies fan there is still time to surprise him with a split-second action photo of his favorite sports hero or event. A discount and a free matted photo is available with each purchase.

“I’ve been capturing the most magical moments in sports photography for the past 30 years — and the events of this past year have been some of the most exciting I’ve ever photographed,” says Druckman.

His once-in-a-lifetime photos of major teams including the Yankees, Mets, Phillies, Eagles, Giants, Jets, Rangers, Devils, Flyers, Knicks, Nets, and 76ers have been exhibited prominently in venues around the world, including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Some of the most thrilling moments of the opening games, first pitches, homeruns and grand slams at each new ballpark, including the top World Series and playoff moments at Yankee Stadium and Citizens Bank Park, have been captured by Druckman, a longtime West Windsor resident. As the official photographer for the Trinity College squash team for the past 13 years, he was thrilled to photograph the team’s 13th straight national title, unprecedented in college sports history.

Druckman’s newest inventory includes exciting moments from the 2010 Super Bowl, the World Series, and photos of teams from High Schools North and South.

His photos have appeared in USA Today, Sports Illustrated, and Squash Magazine, as well as the cover of Trinity Coach Paul Assaiante’s new book entitled, “Run to the Roar.” Internet photo magazine Apogee Photo is currently featuring a story on Druckman entitled, “From Nikon To Icon” that can be read at www.apogeephoto.com.

“My goal in sports photography is to capture the most exciting moments of the most meaningful events to provide an inspirational image that lasts forever,” says Druckman.
