A 59-year-old East Windsor man was killed in an accident on North Post Road September 6.

According to police, David Cullen was traveling south when he struck a car in front of him at about 4:30 p.m., lost control of his vehicle, and struck a utility pole in the area of Woodhollow Road.

The second car was driven by West Windsor resident Glenn Miller, 66. Both cars were headed in the same direction. According to Officer Thomas Tarr, Cullen drove his car into the back of Miller’s vehicle, forcing the car to the left.

Cullen’s car, meanwhile, veered right and struck the utility pole on the passenger side. The impact was so great it snapped the pole in half. Neither vehicle carried passengers. Cullen was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident closed the road until about 10:30 p.m. to facilitate repairs.
