Faculty Student art exhibition on view at West Windsor Arts Council

The West Windsor Arts Council is holding its annual Faculty Student Art Show through Feb. 24.

The show, which features more than 40 pieces of art, gives WWAC students the opportunity to exhibit finished pieces alongside the work of their teachers. It also gives the students the experience of submitting and preparing their work for a professional exhibition.

The show is at the West Windsor Arts Center in the Princeton Junction Firehouse building at 952 Alexander Rd.

“It is also a great way for visitors to learn about the upcoming classes that we are offering, ” said Corinna Bisgaier, director of education for the WWAC.

Every day, students of all ages come to the WWAC to take classes in a number of artistic media, including painting, drawing and sculpting. Also offered are classes in printmaking, fashion design, encaustics and the literary arts.

Students from West Windsor whose works are featured in the show includeJaime An-Wong, Monica Bisgaier, Corinna Bisgaier, Lina Chao, Tammy Dawkins, Ilene Dube, Leah Henderson ,Logan Klein, Keona Sengupta, Shiv Iyer, Ansha Salokhe, Renee Kumar, Kathleen Liao, Marisa Morgan, Masha Ritvinsky, Sehna Rostom, Mihika Sen Mukherjee, Adria Sherman, Mukund Venkatesan, Barbara Weinfield and Julia Weiss.

The West Windsor Arts Council and West Windsor Arts Center is open from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
