Rider University will host a variety of summer programs and courses for high school students and adults across multiple fields, including business, the arts and humanities.
For those interested in earning college credit, Rider’s Summer Sessions offer six-week accelerated courses, allowing students to get ahead in their studies, explore new subjects, or return to the classroom.
Registration for Summer Sessions opens on March 24. Additional information is available at rider.edu/summer.
High school students can also participate in Rider’s Pre-College Summer Programs, which provide the opportunity to study at the college level and potentially earn a four-year, renewable $2,000 scholarship.

Adults interested in advancing their skills in the arts can participate in week-long Adult Summer Arts Programs, which can be taken either as a workshop or for academic credit.
These courses are taught by prominent leaders in their respective fields and include:
Conducting Intensive (July 13 – 19)Choral Festival (July 20 – 26)Voice Pedagogy Institute (July 21 – 25)Special Topics in Choral Pedagogy (July 28 – Aug. 1)
The CoOPERAtive Program, running from June 29 to July 5, is designed for young singers looking to enhance their vocal abilities and expand their repertoire. Participants will receive private voice lessons and personalized assessments.
This year, the program will feature a special collaboration with composer Evan Mack and librettist Joshua McGuire on their new opera, A Nearer Mother. Students in the program can opt to earn undergraduate or graduate credit.
