African American Parent Support Group’s 17th annual Striving for Excellence Awards Program was held at High School North on May 18. The awards were presented by Charles Rudnick, principal of High School South, and Michael Zapicchi, principal of High School. ##M:[more]##

2006 Striving Recipients

High School South award recipients included Melissa Alleyne, Chelsea Cheatham, William Edamonds,Albert Fuller, Joshua Fitzgerald, Samantha Howell, Rebecca Peters, Samantha Clark, Cortne Edmonds, Candace Gregory, Mathew Howard, Rhodalynn Agyeman, Yacoba Annobil, Clayton DeSouza, Jeffery Leonard, Khara Lewin, Danielle Martinez, Kali Mc Millan, Yashon Odera, and Kimberly Richards.

High School North recipients included Marcus Allen, Garvin Brown, Jessica Atis, Cameron Clark, Nicole Counts, Nzinga Andalcio Gibbs, Mariah Foster, Sasha Oduro, Rotimi Owoh, Michel’le Sharlis Thompson, Grace Tuffor, Akeem Thorpe, Chelsea Walters, Mathew Bratton, Sammond Jones, Victria Register, Ciara Robinson, and Jade Samuels.

Also, Kristen Windsor, Nana Akom, Julian Ames, Jesse Betrand, Kalyet Blackwood-Chircir, Aaron Ellis, Jerome Leslie, Shawn Mosely, Aissa Oduro, Tara Osei-Bonsu, Anthony Washington, Caleb Andrews, Rukayat Ariganjoye, San-Sherray Leslie, Wynton Skeleton, Paris Thomas, and Ashley Williams.
