A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1998, he received a degree in computer information systems from Rider University. He works for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Fairfax, Virginia.
Kimberly Ann Shalit and Jared Balestrieri are planning a May, 2005, wedding. She is the daughter of Michael Shalit of West Windsor and Iris Shalid of East Brunswick. Working on her doctoral degree in literacy at the University of San Diego, she is a staff developer for San Diego City Schools.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Michael Balastrieri of San Diego, California, and Adele Mandell of Chicago, Illinois. He is a heavy equipment operator for a construction company in southern California.
