Marielle Zibman and Josh Bryant are planning a summer, 2015, wedding,

The bride-to-be graduated from High School South in 2004 and graduated from Rutgers with a degree in sociology in 2008. She played field hockey at both schools. She earned a master’s degree in the art of teaching special education from the College of New Jersey in 2009.

She is now a self-contained special education teacher of sixth grade math in Baltimore County, Maryland. Zibman is also an assistant field hockey coach at Johns Hopkins University. She is the daughter of Dan Zibman and Elizabeth Madden-Zibman of West Windsor.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Roanoke College in 2006 with a degree in history; and earned his master’s in business and technology management from Stevenson University.

He played lacrosse in college and coached lacrosse while attending graduate school. He is a sales representative for Ryan Homes in the Baltimore South Division. He is the son of Alan and Debi Marteney of Dover, Delaware.

The couple met in Philadelphia on New Years Eve, 2011. Zibman was living in Philadelphia while working as a teacher at William Allen Middle School in Moorestown. The couple lives in the Locust Point section of Baltimore with their two dogs, Lola and Dozer.
