D&R Greenway’s Olivia Rainbow Gallery to showcase “Beech Tree from the Child’s Perspective,” a fine art photography exhibit by Roberta C. Scott from September 8 through October 9, 2015. The exhibition will be on view during business hours at the Johnson Education Center located at One Preservation Place in Princeton.

“Beech Tree from the Child’s Viewpoint” is the fruit of a three-year all-season project by fine art nature photographer Roberta C. Scott. Her impassioned scenes feature intimate and celebratory views of D&R Greenway Land Trust’s iconic beech, presiding across from the entry of D&R Greenway Land Trust’s restored 1900 barn. Compelling views, realistic to abstract, macro to micro, may be seen in the Olivia Rainbow Gallery, intentionally evoking the attention and intensity that young children bring to the natural world. All art is for sale, a percentage supporting D&R Greenway’s preservation and stewardship.

Known for her ecstasy in nature’s presence, along with intense attention to detail, Roberta C. Scott has more than 50 one-woman shows to her credit. Her work resides in many permanent collections, such as Rutgers University Art Library and The Staten Island Museum. Her nature studies have graced Garden Magazine and Channel 8 Cable Television. A curator at North Plainfield’s Fleetwood Museum of Art & Photographics, Scott is also a member of the Center for Contemporary Art of Bedminster, Staten Island Arts, the Nature Conservancy and New Jersey Audubon Society.
