D&R Greenway to host Oasis and Mirage art exhibit

D&R Greenway

is set to present Oasis and Mirage — Disappearing Water, a new art exhibit featuring the best of 400 entries, from March 31 through May 23. In the exhibit, water appears in the form of folded paper, quilted fabric, sculpture and a stunning decorative screen of a mountain waterfall. There are also photographs, both realistic and abstract, and paintings. The exhibit seeks to communicate water’s beauty and essentiality as well as the urgency of its protection. It is housed in the Marie L. Matthews Galleries in the Johnson Education Center. There is an artists’ reception April 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. D&R Greenway is located at 1 Preservation Place, Princeton. More information is online at drgreenway.org.
