Ruth Carroll, 71, of Owego, New York died May 23 at home. Survivors include brother-in-law, Richard and his wife, Jackie Carroll, of West Windsor.

Donations may be made in Ruth Carroll’s memory to Hospice at Lourdes, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.

Virginia Nelson Redman, 90, of Aurora, Illinois died May 23. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Peggy Redman of West Windsor; a granddaughter, Janet Redman of Washington, D.C.; and a grandson, Ben Redman of Wiscasset, Maine. Donations may be made to the P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund, c/o The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554.

Amoy A Smith, 68, of West Windsor died May 25. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Arnold W. Smith; children Winston A Smith, Maria T. Smith, Richard A. Smith, Kimlin Smith lee; and seven grandchildren.

Chamou “Haluko” Lin, 80, of West Windsor died June 4 at Princeton Medical Center. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, she lived in West Windsor for 15 years and became a U.S. citizen in 2001.

After establishing and retiring a successful printing house, she embarked on a second career studying the art of making silk flowers and began teaching the art in 1981. One of the founding members of the Art Flower Association in Taiwan, she was elected chairperson in 1983. She held her first U.S. art flower exhibit at Plainsboro Public Library in 1995. She and her students held two more exhibits at Grace Taiwanese Church in 2000 and 2006.

Survivors include her husband Shu Fong Lin; daughter Angela Lin; sons and daughters-in-law R.H. and M.N. Lin, R.M. and S.L. Lin, R.L. and W.L. Lin, Judy and Fuzong Chung, Su-Mei and Mark Kao, and S.K. and W.C. Hsieh; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Taiwanese Presbyterian Church, 2020 Brunswick Avenue, Lawrenceville. Donations may be made to the church.
