Salaries will increase for Superintendent Victoria Kniewel and Larry Shanok, the assistant superintendent for finance. The WW-P School Board approved contracts that included raises for both at its meeting on September 29.

Kniewel’s salary will increase by 3.5 percent — from $186,150 last year to $192,676 for this year. Shanok’s salary will increase to $165,854, up from $160,245 last year.

The original contract with Superintendent Victoria Kniewel was negotiated in 2007 and is in place through 2011. The board agreed to review Kniewel’s salary at the conclusion of each school year.
