High School South students received five awards at the 25th annual Congressional Art Competition. Representative Rush Holt hosted the competition on May 12 at the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury.##M:[more]##

Chun-Ting Kou was the grand prize winner. For being awarded Best in Show he received a scholarship to the Savannah School of Art. Susan Yue took first prize in painting. Song Yi Han took first place in drawing. Liz Yam was third in drawing and Qiao Wu took second place in mixed media.

There were 79 students from the WW-P district who submitted artwork in painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, photography, printmaking, and photoshop.
