NJ Assemblyman Dan Benson presents a special NJ Proclamation to Pat and Lee Weitz of the Community Christian Choir, honoring its 20th Anniversary.

A New Jersey Proclamation was presented to Pat and Lee Weitz of Trenton’s Community Christian Choir during a recent WomanSpace benefit concert at the Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church. The Proclamation, signed by Assemblyman Dan Benson, President of the Senate Stephen Sweeney and Speaker of the Assembly Vincent Prieto stated, “Within all the spheres of their lives and work, Patricia and Lee Weitz have established a model to emulate and set a standard of excellence toward which others might strive.”

The Community Christian Choir is a multi-denominational and multi-generational choir that performs free benefit concerts in the spring and fall of each year to benefit local charities. Founded in 1994, CCC has given over $206,000 to charities including HomeFront, Families In Transition, WomanSpace, One Simple Wish, Mt. Carmel Guild and many others.

The Proclamation further stated that “the one hundred members of the CCC have earned praise for their impressive musical skill and talents, and are commended for presenting a superior musical experience to the community.”
