Come to An Artful Benefit

Village Arts Studio in Hamilton is having an art show at Grounds For Sculpture on Sunday, June 13, to benefit the Old Barracks and Hopewell Valley Historical Society. In addition to the work the students have created this past year; six New Jersey artists will be participating in the benefit with works for sale and auction. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free.

One of the artists, Doug Fertig, is a West Windsor resident. He has been teaching sculpture and ceramics at the studio since 2004. He received his bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Alfred University in 2008, and has been the art teacher at the Sage Day School in Boonton since 2008. He is moving to New Paltz to enter SUNY graduate school to continue his study of ceramic arts.

Music will be presented by Wendy Zoffer of Plainsboro on the flute and vocals with John Bianculli on piano. Zoffer owns Princeton Music Connection.
