The historic Trent House is set to host two craft days for children in August.

Along with making colonial crafts, children can play pre-revolutionary times games and check out wooden toys.

Colonial wigs and garden sachets, made with herbs and flowers from the Trent House colonial garden, is set for 12 to 2 p.m. Aug. 2.

Rag dolls and garden sachets are scheduled for Aug. 23.

Guided tours of the magnificent Trent House are available following craft-making for a fees.

Built in 1719 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Trent House is restored and carefully furnished as it would have been in the early 18th century.
