Changes to Food Vendor Ordinance

The Plainsboro Township Committee approved changes to the peddlers and solicitors and the mobile food vendors ordinances on December 9.

The changes affect mobile food vendors who come, for example, to business parks within the township to provide lunch to employees during their breaks. Under the previous ordinance, those vendors were only required to get permits from the township but were not required to undergo health inspections. Under the new ordinance, they are.
