Laura Brienza of West Windsor, a senior at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart of West Windsor, carried the American flag in the annual flag ceremony celebrating diversity. Every year the new school year begins with a special flag ceremony celebrating the school’s diversity. The ceremony, which precedes the annual celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit, features a procession of students, faculty, and staff members all carrying the flags of their native countries, or the countries of their parents. This year 33 different countries were represented.
