Cantu Elected Mayor, Again

Peter Cantu was elected Plainsboro Mayor for the 26th time in 31 years at the annual reorganization meeting on January 3.##M:[more]## Cantu was sworn into his 11th consecutive term on township committee, having easily won re-election in November. Cantu was also assigned committee liaison to finance and administration.

Neil Lewis was elected deputy mayor and was assigned as Township Committee liaison to public safety and the environmental advisory committee. Other liaisons were Committeeman Edward Yates to community development and the Plainsboro Historical Society; Committeewoman Ginger Gold-Schnitzer to human services; and Mike Weaver to public works, the Plainsboro Council of Community Organizations, parks and open space, and cable television.
