Martha N. Donovan of West Windsor will speak about liability claims pursuant to the Spill Compensation and Control Act and the Private Well Testing Act at a two-day seminar on Wednesday and Thursday, February 9 and 10, at the Cook College campus in New Brunswick. She is a member of the Somerville law film, Norris McLauglin & Marcus.

Donovan practices in the area of complex litigation, including environmental property damage, toxic tort, and insurance coverage. She has handled a number of Superfund litigation matters, matters arising out of contamination to the environment, and has made presentations to various trade groups and associations ranging from issues including lender liability under SuperFund and the availability of insurance for business related accidents.

Author of the Environmental Law chapter of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s publication New Jersey: A Basic Legal Guide for Foreign Businesses. Donovan received her bachelor degree from Randolf-Macon Woman’s College in 1982 and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1985.
