Webelos II Scotty Baron, Paul Barlyn, Dhruv Bagga, Joe Petrozzini, and Paul Phalen took part in a bridge ceremony as they moved from Cub Scout to Boy Scout. Six boys attained the rank of Webelos I, 21 attained the rank of Bear, six attained the rank of Wolf, and 10 attained the rank of Tiger.

Families from each den contributed a favorite dish to the potluck, resulting in a feast of multi-ethnic proportions. Entertainment by the Give and Take Jugglers included interaction and a chance for scouts to try some juggling.

Patti Baron was honored by Pack 48 for her many years of service, most recently as pack committee chair. Scouts from each den presented a huge thank you sign and pack leaders recounted her contributions to make the pack a vital organization.

Moving into new positions of leadership were Rob Schweitzer, as cubmaster, and Cindy Jacobson, as new pack committee chair. Leo Bellefleur has returned to Pack 48 as assistant cubmaster. Den leaders and committee chairmen were recognized for their work throughout the year.
