Six of the nine Mercer County schools named as 2007 New Jersey Benchmark Schools are right here in the West Windsor-Plainsboro school district.##M:[more]##

Millstone River School, Village Elementary School, Community Middle School, Grover Middle School, and High Schools North and South were designated as Benchmark Schools by the Business Coalition for Educational Excellence at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce using data from the state’s High School Proficiency Assessment, Grade Eight Proficiency Assessment, and NJ Assessment of Skills and Knowledge, according to a released statement. The assessments are posted on the Just for the Kids website, www.just4kids.org.

The other three schools named were in Princeton, including Princeton High School.
