Recently, Brendan Barca, a 2013 graduate of Robbinsville High School and current sophomore at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, participated in an alternative Spring Break trip to Jamaica.

Reverend Hopeton Clennon accompanied the group of about 50 students from Moravian and Ursinus Colleges as they spent six nights at Camp Hope in Westmoreland, Jamaica. The trip was sponsored by the Moravian Church. The students completed a variety of service projects including painting homes, placing fences on properties, painting schools and an orphanage as well as construction and repairs.

Barca’s most memorable experiences were interacting with the young school children during their track and field days and playing soccer with them.
