Michelle Xu, a fifth grade student at Village School, was named the second place winner of the 2008 Arbor Day National Poster Contest. Xu, who took the top prize in New Jersey, received a $500 savings bond and a tree will be planted in her honor at the school.”##M:[more]##
Lesley Bladel, a teacher at Village, received $100 for classroom supplies in honor of Xu. She is also organizing the tree-planting celebration at the school.
