Lucinda Lester Bynum, 85, of Plainsboro died April 1. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. During Hurricane Katrina she and her late husband, Alden Warren Bynum Sr., fled first to Laurel, Mississippi, and then settled in Plainsboro.

Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law Alden Warren Bynum Jr. and Lester Medlock and Juanita Cooley Bynum; six grandchildren, Alden III, Lesley Michelle, Reginald Eugene, Marcellus, Montague, and Messina Bynum; two brothers-in-law, Horace C. Bynum Sr. and Alvin S. Bynum; and two sisters-in-law, Ethel Bynum and Adelle Bynum. Donations be made to the Shiloh Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 340 South Howard Woodson Way, Trenton 08618.

Helen Jones Clinkscales, 88, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, died April 7. Survivors include a sister, Rosella Johnson of Plainsboro.

William Samuel, 78, of Hopewell died April 9 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Survivors include granddaughter Lauren Haggerty of Plainsboro.

Joan H. Fitzgerald, 87, died on April 11 in Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Fitzgerald Burke of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Alzheimers Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville 07834.

Robert Ross Wilson, 79, of Deland, Florida died April 11. Survivors include his sister, Muriel Perrine of West Windsor.

Jean Ann Larkin, 78, of Massachusetts died April 12. Survivors include a niece, Maureen Servis of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the Church of St. Paul, 50 Union Street, Hamilton, MA 01982.

Christina Griseta, 85 of Keansburg died April 12 at Bayshore Manor, Keansburg. Survivors include her grandson, John Sullivan of Plainsboro. Letters of condolence may be E-mailed to condolences@pflegerfuneralhome.com.

John Joseph Villa, 82, of North Plainfield died April 14 at Somerset Medical Center. Survivors include daughter Ann Villa of Plainsboro. Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Northwest New Jersey Region, 669 Littleton Road, Parsippany 07054.
