Wendy Lee of West Windsor is the new director of alumni relations at Kean University in Union. Her new job entails developing a cohesive relations between more than 60,”000 alumni arou74nd the world and their alma mater.##M:[more]##

Lee was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in New York City. She graduated from Baruch College with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and statistics. She was marketing and communications manager for the international nonprofit financial service provider TIAA-CREF and marketing services manager at Siemens Hearing Instruments. She has been at Rider University as director of development and alumni relations for the past three years.

Married to William Lee, an information systems consultant at American Reinsurance, they have lived in West Windsor’s Le Parc II for 17 years. They have a son in High School North.

A member of the homeowners’s association at Le Parc II, Lee is also involved in various community outreach programs at High School North and Princeton Alliance Church. In addition, she is serving a one-year term on the Mayor’s Advisory Committee.

“My experience in a private institute as well as the corporate world,” she says, “give me a combination of tools that can benefit our alums and forward our momentum as a leader among state universities.” Lee would like to hear from all Kean University alumni in the area at wlee@exchange.kean.edu.
