A franchise from Malaysia which started in 1993, it is present in over 14 countries and is the USA alone over 100 locations. Aloha West Windsor was established in Jan 2007 by Dipali Nagar, a resident of West Windsor.

ALOHA Mind Math uses an abacus to bring a whole new approach to teaching children arithmetic. The finely structured syllabus prepared by the ALOHA Curriculum Development Department has created different programs for children as young as 5 (Junior program) and a Senior program.

The technical skill helps children to strengthen and improve their mathematical competence in calculating with speed, and of course accuracy. During the exercises, both portions of the brain are stimulated, making the whole thinking process more efficient and effective.

Classes are held once a week for two hours. At the end of each stage, an examination is conducted. Classes are held weekday evenings and on weekends. Small class sizes and highly trained teachers are fundamental in providing a strong and effective learning environment. This is a unique program which combines classroom teaching with an interactive instruction methodology that makes learning enjoyable and fun for the student.

Besides improving a child’s calculating ability and his understanding of arithmetic, the students are experiencing first hand the benefits of the program through improved attention spans, concentration and increased memory power. This in turn makes a confident child who takes interest and performs well in both their curricular and extra-curricular work.
