Affordable housing seminar set for May 10

Weichert Realtors of Princeton and Princeton Affordable Housing are set to offer a free homebuyer’s workshop.

The seminar highlights the affordable housing program and the how through their help community members can purchase a home for less then what they are paying in rent.

Special guest speakers include Affordable Housing coordinator Christine Peacock, who will be on hand to explain the affordable housing program, Paul De Umberto of First Choice Bank, who will explain the lending options that are available, and Weichert sales associate Linda Twining, who will discuss the available housing complexes that are currently participating in the program.

The seminar is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. May 10 in the Princeton municipal building, 400 Witherspoon St., Princeton.

Following the presentation, community members are invited to attend an open house where they are encouraged to tour three available listings that are currently participating in the affordable housing program from from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
