AAU Volleyball: Tournament Champs

The West Windsor-Plainsboro AAU Volleyball team traveled notched its first ever tournament win on February 17. ##M:[more]##The team, comprised of athletes from both North and South, won the LAVA AAU Boys Volleyball Tournament at Garden Spot High School in New Holland, Pennsylvania. The boys won their first-round pool with a 5-3 record, earning a bye into the semifinals. They shut out their opponents 2-0, in the semifinals and the finals. Members of the team include: Jake Bae, Andy Cheon, Vachan Manchanda, and Jay-Hoon Moon from South, and Brian Foster, Giovanny Jimenez, and Tim Lin from North. The players are now starting practices for the varsity volleyball season, which opens March 23 for South and March 26 for North. The schools will face each other on April 24 at 4 p.m. at South, and on May 18 at 4 p.m. at North.
