IRS-trained volunteers from AARP will prepare federal and New Jersey tax returns from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday through April 16 at Nassau Presbyterian Church, Princeton.

The free service is available to all with an emphasis on low- and moderate-income filers. Returns are filed electronically with paper copies provided.

Tax preparation is on a first-come, first-served basis. A Spanish translator will be available.

Filers should bring copies of last year’s tax returns and all necessary 2015 tax documents including W-2 and 1099 forms, unemployment statements, medical insurance documents, Social Security forms, property tax bills, dependent care provider information, and receipts for itemized deductions, such as medical bills and charitable contributions.

The church is located at 61 Nassau St. Enter through the double doors on the parking lot side of the church; turn left at the bottom of the stairs.

AARP volunteers also prepare returns, by appointment, Monday mornings at Princeton Public Library (call 609-924-9529, ext. 220) and Friday mornings at Princeton Senior Resource Center (call 609-924-7108).
