8U Blue girls softball team crowned 8U tournament champions

Robbinsville Little League began the 2015 post season with their first championship of the season.

The 8U Blue girls softball team competed in the Florence May Mayhem tournament the weekend of May 29-31. The girls played Bordentown May 29 and got their first win.

On May 30 at 2 p.m. they played East Windsor and lost 12-10. At 4:30 p.m. on the same day they played Florence Blue and won. They also won a 7:30 p.m. match against West Windsor White.

On May 31 they returned to play West Windsor Green at 11 a.m. and won. This win put them in the championship game against the East Windsor team they originally lost to. The girls won 14-1.

On their 7th game in less than 48 hours the girls won again to be crowned the 8U tournament champions.
