Terhune Orchards to host Just Peachy Festival

Terhune Orchards is set to host its Just Peachy Festival on Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. raine or shine. The event will take place at 330 Cold Soil Road in Princeton.

The Just Peachy Festival is set to feature a Summer Harvest Farm-to-Form Tasting from 12 to 4 p.m. Chefs from the tri-state area will use locally sourced ingredients to prepare creative peach recipes for visitors to sample. The tasting is $12 per person and includes samples from Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery.

A free Canning and Freezing Class will be presented by Pam Mount on Saturday at 10 a.m. Learn her secrets for preserving farm fresh fruit now and enjoy it all year long. Register for the class online at terhuneorchards.com/class-sign-up/ or call the farm store at (609) 924-2310.

The event will feature live country music by Albo on Saturday and Tookany Creek on Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase in Pam’s Everything Peach food tent. Savor pies, cobblers and muffins made from perfectly ripe peaches from the farm. Cool down with peach ice cream and peach iced tea.. Other tasty summer fare such as barbecued chicken, hot dogs, homemade gazpacho, salads, apple cider donuts and cider slushies will also be available.

Family fun activities include Fun with Nature, Fun with Water and Fun with Animals such as pony rides, a tractor- drawn ride through the orchards and a visit to our barnyard.

Admission to Just Peachy Festival is $5, ages 3 and up.
