In response to the growing needs in the Mercer County community, United Way of Greater Mercer County announced that it promoted two current staff members and added four new professionals.

Raj Vora was promoted to Chief Development and Marketing Officer after serving as Vice President of Outcomes Management.

Angela Scibilia was promoted to Marketing and Campaign Coordinator after serving as Marketing Associates.

Sandra Toussaint-Burgher from Youth Communication in New York City and Cheri Hennessy Durst from the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce were hired at Vice Presidents of Resource Development.

Tara Maffei, who most recently led the American Red Cross Sandy relief efforts in New Jersey joined UWGMC as Vice President of Community Impact and Megan Kirschner, also from the American Red Cross, joined UWGMC as Director of Program Outreach and Outcomes.

Last year, UWGMC returned $19.70 of economic impact to the Mercer County community for every $1 spent. That number is 2.5 times better than the national average of $8.00 in economic impact by non-profit organizations.
