Job seekers conference set for Jan. 19

Princeton Community Church hosts its second annual employment outreach event Jan 19.

A job seekers conference is set to for 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the church, 2300 Pennington Road, Pennington.

The event is free and open to the public.

The church said the event will help job seekers stay motivated in their search, offer interview tips and money management strategies, and provide information on networking and social media.

Marianne Grady is scheduled to present the keynote discussion “Laser Focus: How to Keep It and Stay Motivated During Your Job Search.”

Other discussions and training sessions include, “Should I just start my own business?,” Focus and the Job Search, LinkedIn Training, Interviewing Communication Skills from a HR Perspective and Going Up: Describe Your Skills Elevator Speech.

Opening session and keynote speech is set to begin at 10 a.m. A networking lunch catered by Hopewell Bistro is scheduled for 11:45.
