Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County executive director Jane Latini received the Dr. King Spirit of Community Service Award.
Latini accepted the award from the Hamilton Dr. Martin Luther King Committee on behalf of the organization. The committee presented the award at the annual Dr. King Tribute at Faith Baptist Church on Jan. 17.
The tribute featured musical selections by Isaiah Alston, a top 10 finalist on The X Factor, and Jacob Rivedal and First Baptist Church’s adult choir. .
Dr. Joseph E. Wood, senior pastor of Saint Phillips Baptist Church in Hamilton, delivered the keynote address.
