Hamilton police seeking suspect who allegedly stole from Wawa donation jar

Hamilton police are asking the public’s help to identify a suspect who allegedly stole money from a donation jar at Wawa.

Police were called to the Wawa located at 3800 Quakerbridge Road on Jan. 4. According to a statement from the police, the store manager said an unknown female utilized a plastic utensil to “fish” out an undisclosed amount of cash from the Special Olympics donation jar that was placed at the front sales counter.

Police described the suspect as a 40-year-old white or Hispanic female, approximately 5’3″, with dark black hair. She was last seen wearing a striped shirt and overcoat with a dark colored scarf.

Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in this theft.
