High School South played host to High School North at its annual “Serve Up Hope” event on October 16 at which proceeds benefited Juan Pena Velasquez, a junior at South who was diagnosed with cancer last spring. The Pirates hung on to a 25-18, 11-25, 25-14 victory. Both squads wrapped up their seasons this week.

The Knights sat at 5-14, while the Pirates were 9-8. Anushka Singh has been key for North, leading the team in assists with 91.
