Pennington artist Ted Berglund exhibition set for Cafe 44

An exhibition of paintings and drawing by Pennington artist Ted Berglund is set to be displayed at Cafe 44 Fusion.

Berglund’s exhibition is set for April 16 through 12 at the restaurant, 33 Leigh Ave., Princeton.

His work is primarily made with oil and spray paints on un-stretched canvas. Common themes in his abstract formalism paintings are the human form, landscape motifs and perspective, minimalism, expressionism, and geometry.

Berglund graduated from The Lawrenceville School. He went to on earn a Bachelors of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University and study with painter Georg Baselitz in Berlin, Germany.

Berglund’s work has been displayed at the Hutchins Gallery in Lawrenceville and at numerous galleries in Berlin

Cafe 44 is open for breakfast and lunch from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant transforms into Cafe Fusion for dinner, which is served from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
