Tickets for the 6th annual Hopewell Borough Block Party scheduled for May 25 are on sale.

Under the Full Flower Moon is set to begin 7 p.m. at in the Dana/Nomad Pizza Garden, 2 East Broad Street, Hopewell.

The block party originated in 2006 when friends Sharon Snyder and Deb Stuhler wanted to create a gathering for Hopewell adults.

The party is named after the May full moon, which is called the Flower Moon.

This year’s party party features hors d’oeuvres from the Brothers Moon Restaurant, Antimo’s Italian Kitchen, Peasant Grill, Da’s Thai Restaurant, Franco’s Pizza and other local businesses.

New York based dance band The Strange Rovers is set to perform.

As in the past, block party organizers are partnering with local business sponsors to create a commemorative class. The glass entitles guests to beverages throughout the evening.

Attendees must be 21 years of age to attend.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling Sandy Brown at (609) 468-8545 or Deb Stuhler at (609) 865-9818 or in-person at PNC Bank in Hopewell Borough.

Proceeds from event are set to benefit Christine’s Hope for Kids.

The block party is covered by the New Jersey State Liquor Authority Special Permit # 13006742.
