High School North students in the Model United Nations Club competed in the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference XXV, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The delegation of 18 students were among close to 2,”000 delegates from 100 schools from around the world.

The team earned third place among the Large Delegation category, the best finish in the school’s history.

Thirteen of the school’s delegates were singled out for their performance. They are:

Outstanding Delegate winners David Goldfinger, Daesun Yim, Quinn Maingi, Matt Ryklin, Brian Hui, Carolyn Lipka, and Chris Tian.

Honorable Mention winners Tom Klimek, Anne Corbett, and Arina Balako.

Verbal Commendation winners Ranajoy Bose, Arpan Somani, and Atharv Vaish.

Additional delegates from the third place finish included Rebecca Brodsky, Greg Solak, Ryan Pais, Jason Chin, and Cameron Erdogan.
