Vineeth Amba of Plainsboro had his drawing of a woodpecker published in the September issue of Highlights for Children. He reads the magazine on a regular basis. A fourth grade student at Millstone River School, he also enjoys coin collecting, reading mystery books, skating, swimming, and soccer. He is the son of Amba Narayana and Radhika Pathalapati.##M:[more]##

Vineeth talks about studying to be an ear, nose, and throat doctor in the future. His mother, who is a physician, is a renal specialist. His father is an information technology consultant.

He has been studying piano with a private instructor in Plainsboro for the past two years. Although he has not had art lessons outside of the school curriculum yet, his parents are looking into the possibility.
