Division Three Girls

Coming off a hard fought 1-0 loss against PQM Flower Shop on Saturday, HVSA Purple Panda bounced back and earned a 1-1 tie against Dick’s Sporting Goods Sunday afternoon. Dick’s Sporting Goods took an early lead in the first half, with a goal by Ellie Lamond. As the final minutes of the half wound down, Sonia Tenbarge fed a pass to Amanda Flanders who scored the tying goal.

Division Two Boys

On Saturday, Princeton Nassau Pediatrics soccer team won 7-2 against Northwestern Mutual. Goals were scored by Emil Rybovic (2), Jeremy English and Allen Ye (4). Strong defense in goal was led by Kaempfer Harjes and Jeremy English. In another victorious game Sunday, Princeton Nassau Pediatrics defeated HVSA White, 6-1. Goals were scored by Samuel Girmachew, Jeremy English, Allen Ye, and Emil Rybovic (3). Goalies Kaempfer Harjes and Bodhi Brown led the strong defense.On Saturday, Rely Mechanical faced HVSA White. Rely scored early on a goal by Eli Pashman. The score remained 1-0 until the fourth quarter when Ryan Fornal and John Troiano each scored goals for Rely.

Team HVSA-White lost to Rely Mechanical on Saturday, 5-0. Going into the fourth quarter, Team HVSA-White was down 1-0 thanks to strong efforts by defensemen Brett Streeper and Yaseen Mansour and good goaltending by Trevor LiVecchi and Vincent Matticoli. On Sunday, Team HVSA-White lost to Princeton Nassau Pediatrics, 6-1. Yaseen Mansour was a powerhouse on defense, and Chance Hutnik scored the lone goal.

On Saturday, Greenleaf Lawn & Landscape tied Soccer Post, 0-0. Greenleaf defenders Brayden Kennedy, Bodhi Lamontagne and Antonio Botero held off a relentless Soccer Post attack. On Sunday, Greenleaf Lawn & Landscape suffered its second loss of the season to Wilson Apple Funeral Home team, 3-1. Greenleaf struck first, with a goal by Justin Edgington, assisted by Braydon Kennedy.
