For the second year in a row, Grice Middle School students learned what it mean to give back to their community.

Students in math teacher Chris Edwards’ basketball clinic volunteered at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen on Nov. 28. The eighth grade students helped out in the kitchen by preparing and delivering meals to those in need. Students described the trip as a great learning experience for them.

“It taught the students a lot about appreciation and to be respectful,” Edwards said, adding that he is looking forward to continuing this trip with his clinic in the future.
