The Mercer County Council for Young Children (MCCYC), under the direction of Gateway Community Action Partnership, is set to host a Family Fun Fair on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Steinert High School in Hamilton. The fair is free and open to the public and will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will provide a safe space for families, kids and community members to take part in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, giveaways, pumpkin decorating and face painting. The fair will also provide refreshments and area non-profit organizations are invited to attend and set up information tables.

MCCYC aims to create an environment where parents and stakeholders come together at the local level with providers and community members as active partners to identify and discuss the needs, concerns, aspirations and successes regarding issues that affect the health, education and well-being of children from pregnancy to age 8.
