The Garden Gate Garden Club of Lawrenceville is set to host a program on Monday, May 18 at 7 p.m. in the Lawrence Township Senior Center located at 30 Darrah Lane East.

Local resident Pamela H. Mount. will share her many years of farming experience and knowledge about herbs. Mount will bring plants to show the differences between them and how they grow. She will also teach how to arrange an herb garden, how to care for plants, how to harvest, culinary uses and preserving methods.

Mount and her husband Gary have owned Terhune Orchards since 1975. She has strong connections to Lawrence Township, having served as a councilwoman and mayor. Mount actively supports the community and advocates for preservation of Open Space and making the town sustainable and green.
