Third annual festival gives city a taste of wine and beer

The Downtown Bordentown Association’s third annual Bordentown Wine and Beer Festival is set to be held in Bordentown City May 30. Thefestival scheduled to be held from 2-6 p.m., will be located on Farnsworth Avenue between Crosswicks Street and Railroad Avenue.

The festival gives attendees a “Taste of New Jersey,” featuring wines and craft beers produced in New Jersey and beyond. Cost is $20 per person for a day of sampling wine and craft beers.

Sampling tickets can be purchased for $20 in advance or the day of, and are available at the HOB Tavern, Old Book Shop, and Shoppe 202.

For those not sampling, the festival is free to attend.

A percentage of the net proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the Old City Hall restoration project.

Other entertainment at the festival includes live music throughout the day.

Local restaurants will feature $5 menu items for purchase as attendees sample the fine wines and craft beers at the event. Restaurants include Toscano Ristorante, The Farnsworth House, Under The Moon Cafe, Marcello’s Restaurant, Oliver, a Bistro, Jester’s Cafe, The HOB Tavern, The Vault and The Cake Box.
