Ewing’s Kidsbridge Tolerance Museum is set to host a Grand Re-Opening/Ribbon Cutting event on October 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. to reintroduce the Tolerance Museum to the community.

Last June, the museum moved from The College of New Jersey to its new home at the Ewing Community and Senior Center, located at 999 Lower Ferry Road.

Kidsbridge hosts visiting classes beginning in early October.

The museum is by appointment only, so interested schools and groups should email Meg Palladino at meg@kidsbridgemuseum.org for more information.

The Eighth Annual Kidsbridge Humanitarian Awards Reception and Live Auction is set for November 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Trenton Country Club.

The 2014 honorees include Lisa Forrester, owner and executive director of Harmony Schools; The College of New Jersey; Marc Linowitz Rose and Louis H. Linowitz Charitable Foundation; and Will Smith, general manager/COO of Trenton Thunder Baseball Club.
