Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey awarded the prestigious Barbara Boggs Sigmund award to Senator Linda Greenstein on Jan. 9.

Greenstein received the top award for a Democratic woman from the non-partisan caucus.

The Barbara Boggs Sigmund award recognizes a woman who has had a successful career, advanced policies in support of women and families, and made effective efforts to advance careers and opportunities for other women.

Greenstein blazed her own trail as the first woman elected to the 14th District Senate seat.
